He is survived by his brother, Cecil Leon Crittenden of Westville, OK, sister, Carol J. Montgomery of Gentry, AR, sister: Judy K Crawford and husband Michael of Gentry, AR and several nieces and nephew.
Dale graduated from Westville in 1982 and attended college at NSU, where he earned his bachelors degree in education. He spent several years there before returning to Oklahoma. He taught history, summer drivers education and coached football at several different Oklahoma schools.
During his off time of school, he spent his time working as grounds keeper at Southern Hills Golf Course, which turned into a passion of keeping his yard and his sister’s yards weed free.
After stressful summers teaching drivers education, he retreated to Colorado for four wheeling and camping in the mountains.
Dale loved hunting, keeping his yard weed free and spending time with his family. His nieces and nephew were his joy in life.
He will be deeply missed by all.
