Alfred Randall Smith was born October 12,1947 to Delbert and Eola Smith in Camp Hood, Texas. He went to sleep on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the age of 68 years. He was the oldest of 5 children. Playing music was a major part of the Smith family life, Randy learned at a very young age to back up his dad, playing chords on a lap steel guitar. He married his childhood sweetheart, Lucinda K. Johnson in July, 1967. They built their family home and raised 4 wonderful children. Randy had a strong work ethic and provided for his family by working at Hudson\Tyson Foods for 28 years. Randy was an excellent carpenter: making clocks, picture frames, and other beautiful wood works for friends and family. His wife Lucinda passed in 2005. He began searching and studying for God's truth, that he had studied as a youth and in 2007 began attending the Philadelphia Church of God and was baptized later that year. This is where he met and became friends with Pamela Bacon. In June 2008 Randy and Pamela were married and he gained 7 more children.
Over the last 8 years, Randy and Pamela traveled extensively throughout the United States and the world, visiting Canada and Australia. He and Pamela maintained a small farm in Westville, Oklahoma. Randy lived a way of life that demonstrated his deep faith and strong spiritual courage!
He is preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Eola Smith, his brother Kenneth Smith, wife Lucinda Smith, son Jason Bacon, daughter Crystal Bacon, great grandson Rhykier Maclane Lewis.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Smith of Westville, Oklahoma; his sons Randall Smith, James Smith and wife Shannon, of Westville, Oklahoma; Justin Bacon and his wife Breann of Bentonville, Arkansas; Robert Bacon of Rogers, Arkansas; Douglas Bacon of Fowlerville, Michigan, and his daughters Melinda Thurman and husband Johnny of Watts, Oklahoma; Delbonnie Russell and husband Gary of Westville, Oklahoma; Wendy Bacon and Kimberly Bacon of Bentonville, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, one sister, Deletta Sasnett and husband Charles of Stilwell, two brothers Tom Smith and wife Paula of Stilwell Ok and Darrell Smith and wife Cheryl of Westville and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
