Bentley James Arnold, age 14, of Westville, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, July 27th, 2026. He was born on September 22, 2011, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Bentley lived life in a way that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a heart of gold and a personality that was impossible to forget. Bentley loved making people laugh with his goofy sense of humor, quick wit, and honest, unfiltered way of speaking. He never met many strangers and had a special way of bringing smiles to the faces of those around him.

Bentley enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and taking on manual labor jobs where he could stay busy and lend a helping hand. He loved roller skating and was always ready for his next adventure. A true foodie at heart, Bentley's favorite meals included burgers and steak, and nothing made him happier than a trip to Braum's for a bag of burgers or maybe even two. His favorite colors were red, black, and green.

Above all else, Bentley treasured his family. He was a proud and loving big brother who cared deeply for his siblings and enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with those he loved. The memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Kortni Arnold, and Johnny Swake of Westville, Oklahoma; his father, Johnny Murphy and Whitney of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; his siblings, Jonah, Addison, Melanie, Fernando, Chandler, Baylea, Kanaan, and Kingston; his paternal grandparents, Mike and Jami Murphy of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Bobbie Haws of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother, Linda Swake of Westville, Oklahoma; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and extended family who will cherish his memory forever.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Rogene Arnold; his aunt, Tina Crisp; and his uncle, David Adam Arnold.

Some lives are measured not by the years they are given but by the love they leave behind. In his 14 years, Bentley filled the lives of those around him with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. His kind heart, contagious smile, goofy spirit, and unwavering love for his family will forever be cherished. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
