Betty Copeland

Betty Ruth Copeland age 89, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas was born May 10th,1934, in Gladewater, Texas to James Price and Millie Cuzick. The lord called her home from this life May 21st, 2023, in Lincoln, Arkansas.

Betty was a loving wife, mom, and grandma. One of her greatest accomplishments was being married for 71 years. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a chicken farmer for Tyson for 50 years and she and her husband loved to raise cattle. Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time working in her flower beds, watching old games shows, the Arkansas Razorback ballgames and doing puzzles.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents James Price and Millie Cuzick Comstock, her sisters Josephine (Josie) Copeland, Velma (Jane) Turley, and her brother Robert (Shorty) Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband Gilbert Copeland of 71 years of marriage. One daughter Betty Kay Collins of Lincoln Arkansas. Two sons Don Copeland of Prarie Grove, Arkansas, Danny Copeland and wife Eva Hankins of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Several great-grandkids and great great-grandkids and a host of friends and loved ones.
