Betty Self

Betty Delois Self, daughter of Chester and Lillian (Hern) Wood, was born on June 2, 1939 in Westville, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, January 18, 2021 in Bentonville, Arkansas at the age of 81 years.

She married Waymond Self on January 29, 1960.  Betty liked to cook and liked to go shopping.

Betty was of the Holiness Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Waymond, parents Chester and Lillian Wood and sister-in-law Sharon Wood.

Betty is survived by a very loving family that includes a brother Wendell Wood, sister Linda Scott and husband John Wayne of Westville, OK, niece Wendy Hampton, nephews Darin Wood, Jeffery Scott and Johnny Scott, all of Westville, several great nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services were held at 10 am on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, OK with Bro. Doug Davis officiating.  Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
