Betty Tatum

Betty June Tatum daughter of Burl and Cora (Faddis) Williams was born June 15, 1932 in Ft. Smith, AR and departed this life at home surrounded by loved ones on September 9, 2016 at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 25 days.
She enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was married to Neal Tatum on July 24, 1948 and to this union 2 children were born; Wanda and Nancy. She will be greatly missed by all whom cared for her.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Cora Williams, brothers; Lloyd and Gene Williams and sisters; Christine Meredith and Mildred Martin.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Neal Tatum of the home in Stilwell, OK, daughters; Wanda Gibson of Muldrow, OK, Nancy Carol Boydston of Muskogee, OK, grandchildren; Wesley Gibson and wife Nancy of Ft. Smith, AR, Raymond Boydston and wife Angela of Oktaha, OK, great grandchildren; Alexis Faith Gibson of Van Buren, AR, Brooke Bailey Boydston of Vian, OK, Kayleigh Marie Boydston of Oktaha, OK. One sister; Vada Harris of Galena, MO, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Graveside services were held, Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Jeff Wilcher officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home.
