Bobby Goodwin

Bobby Joe Goodwin, son of Edmond Lewis and Zella Mae (Blakely) Goodwin, was born March 28,1932 in Elkhart, Kansas and departed this life on June 20,2016 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years.

He was a carpenter by trade and worked hard all his life to provide for his family. Bobby Joe enjoyed camping especially when he was able to take the grandchildren. He was a devoted father, husband and friend. His presence will be deeply missed.

Preceding him in death were his parents: Edmond and Zella Goodwin, brothers: Ray Counterman, Edmond Howard Goodwin, sister: Betty Gestlenslager, daughter: Leslie Goodwin and stepson: David Sheaks.

Bobby Joe is survived by his wife: Pauline Goodwin of the home in Westville, OK, children: Randy Goodwin of Atwood, KS, Beatrice Ledesma and husband Jess of Hutchinson, KS, Sheila Cox and husband James of Goodland, KS, Connie Huber and husband Randy, Mark Goodwin and Shelley Goodwin, all of Garden City, KS, stepchildren: Walt Dinkel of Oakley, KS, Janice Renshaw and husband Daryl of Stilwell, OK, Julie Jensen of Council Bluffs, IA, Robert Sheaks of Canon City, CO, 29 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
