Charles Turner

Charles Larry Turner, son of J. D. and Sally Mae (Downing) Turner, was born on September 23, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee and passed from this life on June 30, 2015 at Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 66 years.

Larry served in the United States Merchant Marines. He supported his family as a Truck Driver. Larry was a fishing fanatic. He was ready to go anytime and anywhere. He enjoyed cooking, auctions, traveling and flea markets. Larry especially enjoyed hanging out with his brother, Mike.

He was preceded in death by his parents: J. D. and Sally Turner.

Larry is survived by his children: Larry Clifton Turner and wife Amber of Lantz, Canada and John Manley Turner and wife Debby of Carthage, MS, Misty Turner of Cave City, AR, grandchildren: Kennedy Turner, Bryan Turner, Matt Turner, Blake Turner, Carley Turner, Miley Turner, siblings: Jerry Turner and wife Shirley of Forrest, MS, Ronald Turner and wife Jane of Newton, MS, Mike Turner and wife Jolene of Bentonville, AR, Deborah Kay Russell and husband Doug of Vicksburg, MS, Mary Beth McCarthy and husband Greg of Shreveport, LA.

Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him.

Private family services will be planned at a later date.
