Cindy Jean (Sexton) Ketcher was born on April 27, 1973, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Roy Sexton and Georgia (Sixkiller) Sexton and departed this life on August 16, 2021, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 48 years, 3 months, and 20 days.
Cindy enjoyed playing games on her phone and watching movies with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and care giver. She enjoyed making birthday cakes and she made excellent gravy. Cindy was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2019 which altered everything in her life. She was a big animal lover, especially dogs, and she liked fish too. Cindy enjoyed checking out flea markets, country music, gardening, and raising flowers. Cindy is and will be missed and loved always. She was the “Mama Bear” of her family!
She was preceded in death by her sister: Becky Sixkiller, and George Sixkiller; aunt: Judy Phillips; uncles: Darrell Sexton, and Daisy Sixkiller; grandparents: Emmett “EG” and Hannah Sexton, and Jim Sixkiller.
Cindy is survived by her husband: David Ketcher; sons: Winston Ketcher, and Christopher Ketcher; daughter: Jasmine Ketcher; her parents: Roy and Georgia Sexton; sister: Rhonda and husband Marc Marsh, and Patty McGee and significant other Waylon Ross; nephews: Dalton Marsh, and Raven McGee; nieces: Kyiah Marsh, Ashton Marsh, and Sadie Ross. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive her.
