Curtis Kindle

Curtis Don Kindle, 80, a resident of Proctor, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at St.Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on December 1, 1942 in Tahlequah to the late Claude Kindle and Emma (Reese) Kindle.

Funeral Service will be 10 AM, Friday, September 29, 2023 at Roberts and Hart Funeral Home in Westville, burial to follow at Proctor Cemetery, Pastor Navil Vaughan officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Roberts and Hart Funeral Home from 5 PM until 7 PM.

Curtis enjoyed driving around the country and sightseeing as well as going hunting. He most especially enjoyed spending time with his precious grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Claude Kindle, brothers, Richard Kindle, Cecil Kindle, Johnny Kindle, Virgil Kindle, sisters, Alterine Gordon, infant Anna Kindle, son-in-law, Milan Wilkie, and a grandson, Kenton Wilkie.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Jennie Kindle, daughters, Carla Kindle and Kim Wilkie, brother, Haskell Kindle, sister, Louise Holderby, grandchildren, Cheyanne Wilkie, Kindle and husband Jared Fain, Josh (Tati) Wilkie, Josie Wilkie, Kendra Wilkie, Lorne Wilkie, Dani Wilkie, Brooke Kindle, Jimmy Collins, Keysha Kindle, great-grandchild, Avery Vaughn, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
