Darrell Gifford

Darrell James Gifford, son of Hershel and Anna (Bailey) Gifford, was born on October 25, 1959 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and departed this life surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home in Kansas, Oklahoma at 58 years of age.

He was raised in the Westville, Oklahoma area and graduated from Westville High School in 1977. Darrell worked in the construction business all his life. In 1989, he moved his family to Kansas, Oklahoma, where he became a farmer/rancher.

Darrell loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and loved fishing.

Darrell was always willing to help out and lend a hand.

He loved his family and friends very much.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents: Hershel and Anna Gifford, brothers: Dewayne Gifford, Hollis Gifford and Robert Gifford.

He is survived by a loving and devoted family that includes his wife: Janet Gifford of the home near Kansas, OK, sons: Justin Gifford and Scot Ivey, daughter: Lisa Walker, grandchildren: Zack Ivey, Brad Thompson, Justin Herod, Nicole Walker, Jeremy Herod, Mia Gifford, Irish Ivey, C J Teafatiller, great grandchildren: Keegan, Breylon, Brody, Otto, Kenleigh and Harper.

Darrell also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, Oklahoma with Chaplain Terry Wofford officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma
