David Ray Clark, 63, passed away at his home Sunday, March 29, 2026, after a long, valiant fight with cancer. He was surrounded by his adoring family and friends. David is survived by his wife Sealy of the home, his daughter Jennifer Guinn and husband Danny and their 7 children. His son, Michael Clark, his wife, Camille, and their four children. David also had 4 great-grandchildren with more on the way.
David was the son of Herschel and Barbara Clark and was born September 9th, 1962, at Tahlequah City Hospital. He grew up in Westville alongside his brother Dale Clark.
David was always happy and smiling and even had the nickname "Happy." As a baby, David had an amazing, booming laugh that everyone loved. He loved laughing, joking, and playing with his grandchildren. He gave tractor rides, built treehouses, and had the best hayrides ever. He was always outside and up for fun adventures with his kids and grandbabies.
David was an extremely hard worker and worked for Baldor for twenty years while simultaneously starting his own carpentry business. He specialized in cabinetry, but he was a master carpenter, and there was nothing he couldn't build or fix.
He taught both his children and nephew Robert Pollard the craft and always said you can't have it really fast if you want it real good and to never do a job you're not proud enough to put your name on. For that reason, he had many clients that became like family.
