David Hammer

David Lee Hammer, son of Chester and Mae Ruth (Scraper) Hammer, was born on May 9, 1946 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 71 years of age.

He worked in construction to help support his family. David loved mechanic work. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting. David was quite a jokester and loved making people laugh. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Mae Ruth Hammer, sister: Mildred Ward, brother: Chester Hammer, Jr. and a granddaughter.

He is survived by a loving family that includes his children: Crystal Hammer of Tulsa, OK, Misty Hensley of Westville, OK, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters: Lou Ann Collins and husband Bill of Stilwell, OK, Susie Underwood and husband Ted of Bristow, OK, brother: Lawrence Hammer and wife Rose of Hulbert, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
