David Watson

David Lavelle Watson, son of Charles Leon Watson, Jr. and Shelly Kay Phipps, was born on December 12, 2001 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

He left us too soon on Thursday , July 16, 2020 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age 18 years, 7 months and 4 days.

David loved Family, Friends, Food, Fun and especially, FOOTBALL!

He was preceded in death by his Grandma Emma, Grandma Connie, Uncle David, Cousin Nick Evans and Cousin Vanessa Guthrie.

David is survived by a devoted family that includes his father: Chuck Watson and stepmom Kerri of Watts, OK, mother: Shelly Phipps, brothers: Chuck “Fatboy” Watson and wife Krystal of Tahlequah, OK, Kameron Watson and wife Naomi of Westville, OK, Ashton Turknett and wife Jessica of Westville, sister: Keyona “Sis” Watson of Westville, 2 nieces: Aria Watson & Thalia Watson, a nephew on the way, a special friend: Eddie Roberts and a Heaven sent Angel: Lacrecia Lynn.

Funeral services were held at 7 pm on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Westville High School Football Field, Westville, OK with Eddie Roberts officiating.  Interment followed at Downing Cemetery, Westville, OK under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
