Dennis Vernon Morris Jr. the son of Dennis Vernon Sr. and Mildred Eugenia (Lyons) Morris was born March 31, 1939, in Fayetteville, Arkansas and departed this life on July 4, 2020, in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 4 days.
Hank was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked for the Highway Department for many years before retiring to enjoy his love of the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He raised bird dogs squirrel dogs and coon dogs. He enjoyed hunting and raising dogs for each game. He trained his dogs to the point that if he honked his horn, they'd come back to the truck. He raised mules and horses, and enjoyed riding them. Hank's family meant the world to him and he cherished them dearly. Hank touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Ted Morris and Pete Morris.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife of over 61 years Eugenia Morris of the home; his children Denise Bigby of Colcord, Dana Wilkie and husband Eddie of Baron, Debbie McReynolds and husband Randall of Westville and Dennis Vernon Morris III of Westville; his sister Emmabelle Morris of Stilwell; his brother Carl Morris and wife Theresa of Stilwell; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
