Donald Janes

Donald Gene Janes of Watts, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 years on May 9, 2022.  He was born on December 3, 1950, in Gravette, Arkansas to Donald and Lora Janes.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife: Myra Louise Janes; and his brother: Chester Wayne Janes.

Lovingly remembered by his son: Donald Janes, Jr. of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; son: Bobby Janes and spouse Cherie of Gentry, Arkansas; his daughter: Tina Janes and spouse Jason Tutor of Watts, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and his brothers: Bill, Roy, Pat, and Mike; and sisters: Sharon, Linda, and Mary.

Donnie was a simple man who enjoyed his grandchildren, spending time with his dogs, gardening, and tinkering.  He spent his career working in maintenance at a few jobs and he enjoyed what he did.  Donnie also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching westerns. He will be missed.
