Duane Carter

Duane Ray Carter son of Willard Raymond and Beulah Inez (Wood) Carter was born April 22, 1942 in Fayetteville, AR and departed this life on January 31, 2017 in Fayetteville, AR at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 9 days.
Duane worked for Fayetteville Public Schools for many years until retirement. He loved woodworking, leather work and really enjoyed his animals especially his dog. One of his favorite things was fishing but he really enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother in law; Bud Allen.
Duane is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Georgia of the home, children; Iris McCool and husband Chuck all of Westville, OK, Lonny Carter of Springdale, AR, Curtis Carter of Alto, TX, Jr. Carter and wife Michele of Prairie Grove, AR. One sister; Wilma Allen of Robstown, TX, grandchildren; Olivia McCool, Courtney McCool, and Daniel Carter, great grandchild; Ryder Hankins, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
