Edith Lavaughn Willoughby, daughter of Johnnie Grover and Sylvia (Beaver) Pendergraft, was born May 9, 1936 in Benton County, AR and departed this life on December 12, 2016 in Siloam Springs, AR at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 3 days.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She loved cooking, quilting, sewing, reading her bible a lot but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Norman Lee Willoughby and siblings; GL Pendergraft and Etta Auttonberry.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Elisabeth Willoughby of Watts, Ok, Joseph Willoughby of Vinita, OK, grandson; John Paul Turner and wife Ariel of Watts, OK, 3 great grandchildren; Heaven and Naveah Harris, Cuda Norman Willoughby. Siblings; Dale Pendergraft and wife Connie of Watts, OK, Evelyn Gifford and husband Charles of Pierce City, MO, Mearel Pendergraft and wife Latoya of Wilburton, OK, Rod Wilson of Montana, Rose Kramm of Topeka, KS, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Harvard Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Pastor Tad Thompson officiating.
