Everette Leak

Everette Leroy Leak, son of Theodore Marian and Ida Belle (Mason) Leak was born June 14, 1919 in Proctor, OK, and departed this life to be with our Lord and Saviour on August 12, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 97 years, 1 month and 28 days.

Everette enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family especially his son and grandkids. He provided for his family by being a great farmer and rancher. Everette lived for and served our Lord Jesus Christ from a young boy until his last breath. He attended church at Proctor Community Church and Christie Southern Baptist Church for years. He was a great role model for his family.

Everette was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of over 70 years; Alma Jean, infant daughter; Marilyn Joyce Leak and one sister; Dorothy Vineyard.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes one son; Don Leak and wife Arlene, 3 grandchildren; Joe Leak and wife Carel, Angie Pruitt and husband Andy, Amy Roberts and husband Eddie all of Westville, OK, 10 great grandchildren; Kaiti Leak, Emme Burrows and husband Gary, Philip Leak, Jorel Leak, Michael Leak, Ashley Pruitt, John Pruitt, Don Pruitt, Amber Roberts and Jake Roberts. 3 great grandchildren; Blakelon, Dailynn and Reagan, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 11 am on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Proctor Community Church, Proctor, Oklahoma with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery, Proctor, Oklahoma under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home - Westville, Oklahoma.
