George Mccollum

On the evening of February 7th, 2017 George R, McCollum Jr. passed peacefully from this life while holding the hand of his wife Dianne in a room full of family and friends. George had a hard battle with cancer and fought with all the fire and determination that he applied to every other element of his 66 years.
George R. McCollum Jr. is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Dianne Boster of Westville, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his only son, Aaron McCollum, and his wife Shauna, also of Westville, as well as his brother Timmy McCollum and wife Karen of Westville, and sister Jerre Jones and husband Sheridan of Stilwell Oklahoma and special sister Lynn Schader and husband, Bobby of Farmington, AR.
George's grandchildren that will carry on his legacy with honor include Morgan Evilsizor-McCollum of Phoenix, Arizona, Colby McCollum of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Jonathan Castorena, Kimberly Castorena, and Gabriel Cas- torena, all of Westville, Oklahoma, and his sole greatgrandchild Ruyter McCollum of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
George was preceded in death by his former wife Vicki Fletcher as well as his father George R. McCollum Sr. of Westville and his mother Rosemary Foster also of Westville.
Graveside services were held at 11 am on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Ft Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, OK under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home - Westville, OK
