Helen Blagg

Helen Ruth (Eads) Blagg daughter of Truey and Sadie (Morris) Eads was born August 20, 1941 in Westville, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 9, 2022 in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

Helen was a hard worker and took pride in her job at Cherokee Nation Housing Authority where she worked for 27 years.  She enjoyed her family, reading books, going to rodeos and judging rodeo queen pageants, taking care of her horses and going to the horse races. She loved to attend any sporting event her kids played in and didn’t miss a game. She was also a big Arkansas Razorback fan! The highlight of her life was her grandchildren, whom she adored!

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters…Joyce McDonald, Bonita Jackson and Gloria Mongold, one brother…Billy Wayne Eads and 2 great grandsons…Trenton Beaver and Jasper Frick.

She is survived by a loving family which includes one sister, Betty Burke of Collinsville, Oklahoma, one brother, Vol (Gail) Eads of Fayetteville, Arkansas, her sons, Chuck (Laverna) Helm of Westville, Oklahoma, Michael (DeeAnn) Helm of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Kevin (Duanita) Helm of Yukon, Oklahoma and daughter Whitney (David) Cline of Huntsville. Arkansas. Twelve grandchildren: Courtney (Terry) Asbill, Bentz (Megan) Helm, Bailey (Blaine) Helm, Grace Helm, Faith (Brian) Wakley, Susannah Helm, Catherane Helm, Blake (Chelsea) Helm, Amanda (Cody) Frakes, Brittney (Dylan) Hammons, Brooke (Cole) Frick, Blair Cline and 16 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other loved ones and friends.
