Hollyn Michelle Dixon was born on July 7, 2004, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Sarah Maxwell and Scott Hutcheson and passed from this life on May 13, 2026. Hollyn’s passing came far too soon, leaving unimaginable heartbreak for all who knew and loved her.
Her beautiful spirit, infectious energy, and deep love for others created a lasting impact that will never be forgotten. Hollyn spent most of her life in Northwest Arkansas before beginning a beautiful new chapter in Westville, Oklahoma, alongside the love of her life and husband, Connor Dixon. The two were married on March 9, 2024, building a life centered around love, laughter, faith, and devotion. To know Hollyn and Connor together was to witness a love many spend a lifetime searching for. Hollyn was truly the woman Connor prayed for, and caring for her brought him immense joy. Even during his monthly drills away from home, being apart from her was never easy.
A woman of Christian faith, Hollyn was a member of First Baptist Church in Westville. She took great pride in reading her Bible and had read it several times throughout her short but meaningful life. Her faith was not simply something she spoke about; it was reflected in the way she loved people, cared for others, and carried joy into every room she entered.
Hollyn possessed a beautiful spirit that naturally drew people to her. She had the rare gift of truly learning people, seeing them for everything they were and loving them deeply anyway. She invested herself wholeheartedly in the lives of others and found genuine happiness in making people feel special. Whether through thoughtful gifts, carefully planned events, or simply her infectious energy and beautiful smile, Hollyn made people feel loved. She was wonderfully unique, full of life, creativity, and humor. Hollyn had her own special way of speaking, often creating words or phrases affectionately known by those who loved her as “Hollynisms.”
Her goofy personality, gorgeous eyes, and lovely spirit made her unforgettable to everyone she met. Hollyn loved thrifting, reading romance novels, working puzzles, and playing board games, especially when there was competition involved. She enjoyed watching shows like Survivor, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and One Tree Hill. She was incredibly organized, creative, and crafty, with a remarkable ability to turn something simple into something beautiful.
Everything in Hollyn’s world had its place, and she took pride in creating happiness and beauty for others through even the smallest details. Among the many things she cherished most were her four beloved pets, Beau, Toby, Noel, and Piper, who were far more like children to her than animals. She also treasured her role as an aunt to Rowan and Harlow, loving them with her whole heart and bringing joy into their lives in countless ways.
She is survived by her husband, Connor Dixon, of the home; her mother, Sarah Maxwell, and husband, Jason, of Gravette, Arkansas; her father, Scott Hutcheson, and wife, Quinn, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sisters Emelyn and Gracyn Maxwell and Stella; brother Quentin Hutcheson and Blaze; paternal nana, Jane Dore; paternal grandfather, David Hutcheson, and wife, Dana, of Elkins, Arkansas; maternal grandfather, Gary Anderson, of West Siloam Springs; maternal grandmother, Linda Maxwell, of Atwood, Oklahoma; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rhoda and Russell Dixon, of Westville, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law Ashley Dixon and Jessica Anderson and husband, Josh; brother-in-law, Parker Dixon; and nieces Rowan and Harlow; uncles Aaron and Zach Hutcheson; and cousins April and Darren Warren.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Terri Anderson, and grandfathers, Lanny Hamlet and John Maxwell.
Though her time here was brief, Hollyn’s life was filled with purpose, love, faith, and light. She carried immense joy within her spirit, and that joy touched every life fortunate enough to know her. The world lost a beautiful soul far too soon, but the love Hollyn gave so freely will continue living on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Arrangements to honor and celebrate Hollyn’s beautiful life are currently being made, and service information will be announced soon.
