James Thompson

James Franklin Thompson was born June 26, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Albert Earl Thompson and Myrtle (Davidson) Thompson. He passed away on May 3, 2021 at 15:22 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 69.

He was a member of the VFW in Westville, Oklahoma and Vise-Mayor of Watts, Oklahoma. He was also a SP5 in the Army from 1978-1984.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Albert Earl Thompson and Myrtle (Davidson) Thompson.

James is survived by his wife: Katherine (Michele) Thompson of the home. 2 sisters: Elizabeth Taylor of Westville, Oklahoma, and Margaret Deane Thompson. 5 children: Teresa and spouse Don of Horatio, Arkansas, Angie and spouse Carl of Cincinnati, Arkansas, Patrick and spouse Brittany of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nova and spouse Danny of Gravette, Arkansas, and Kim and spouse Matt of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He had 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 am on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Bro. Mike Finley officiating.  Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, OK.
