J. B. Maloy

J. B. “Dickie” Maloy born June 9, 1942 in Bunch, OK to Loyd Maloy and Gladys Chuculate Maloy and departed this life at the age of 78.

Dickie was known by many names, J. B., Dickie, Three-quarter, Shorty and Twin.

Dickie was a truck-driver all of his life and his last job was Stilwell Foods where he worked for 33 years before retirement.

In his younger days he could always be found on or in the creek or in the woods and if he wasn’t there, he would for sure be found at the pool hall. He loved to fish and hunt and very much enjoyed his hunting trips to Colorado with family and friends. He also loved to eat and play dominos. Six’s were his favorite and by the time one hand was played, he knew what everyone else had.

Dickie was preceded in death by his daughter: Tammy Renee Maloy Scott, parents and grandparents, John & Effie Chuculate.

Dickie will be very much missed but leaves behind lots of fun memories and he will live in our hearts forever.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his son: John B Maloy and wife Virginia “Virgie” Maloy, of Siloam Springs, AR, and Tina E Giffin and husband, Kevin E Giffin of Westville, OK, sister: Sue Ann Smallen and husband Jerry D Smallen, brothers: Rick Brown and wife Brenda Brown of Stilwell, OK and Gary Wayne Addington and wife Sandra Addington of Tahlequah.

Surviving grandkids are: Nathan Maloy and wife Melissa Maloy of Gentry, AR, Chelsea Maloy of Siloam Springs, AR, Mandy Guthrie and fiancé Johnnie Deason of Springdale AR, Molly Beck and husband Levi Beck from Colcord, OK.

Surviving Great grandkids are: Maddison, Karleigh, and Layne Beck, of Colcord, OK. Utah Leach, Hadlee and Rayce Deason, of Springdale, AR, and Aubrey Maloy of Gentry, AR.
