J C Martin

J C Martin son of David Martin & Ella Martin was born on March 16, 1941 in Cherokee County, OK and departed this life on October 4, 2022 in Bentonville, AR at the age of 81 years and 6 months and 18 days.

J C married Shirley Jean Swepston on September 13, 1958.  He is survived by 5 children, Pam Amos & husband Frank of Colcord, Ok, Patty Fields & husband Rex Fields of Elkins, Ar, Rita Bailey & husband Edward Bailey of Westville, David Martin and wife Tracie Martin of Destin, Fl, Jerry Martin and wife Kelly Martin of Westville. One sister, Marie Martin of Miami, Oklahoma. Grandchildren; Kriste Fields Koeppe & husband Jason, Miranda Gauthier & husband Shawn, Jereme Bailey & wife Kristina, William Bailey & Latasha Gardenhire, Sarah Kincheloe & husband Rob, Tiffany Vasek & husband Michael, Alexis Martin, Amanda Ferguson & husband Chase, Chase Martin & wife Jacklyn, Kimberly Bradshaw & husband Erik, Cassie Motter, Scott Motter, 25 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive him.

JC retired from Levi’s in Fayetteville, AR where he was a lead mechanic.

He was a member of the Whitmire Community Church. JC loved reading his bible and listening to old time gospel music.

He is preceded in death by his spouse Shirley Martin, his parents David and Ella Martin, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
