Joyce Thomas

Joyce Ann Davis Thomas was born on November 7, 1943, to Vernon and Goldie Davis in Sequoyah MT, Fayetteville AR. She departed this life on August 26, 2023 in Tulsa, OK.

She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Thomas, her parents Vernon Davis and Goldie Davis Hays, and one sister Kathrine Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Bonnie Sue Thomas of Tallequah, OK, Rickie Lee Thomas of Siloam Springs, AR, Leanna Mae Wallace and Randy of OH, and Rose Points of Inola, OK. Darrell (Joe) Howard and Vicki of Westville, OK, Carol Glasscock and Ray of Springfield, MO. Cristine McMann of Tulsa, OK, and Vernon Thomas. Sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Three siblings Mary Lou Ripper, Chuck Centers, and Connie O'Donald whom all reside in CA. and a host of relatives from the Boston Mountains of Arkansas where she spent her childhood to the coast of California.

She eventually made Westville, OK her home where she would work and raise her family. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being an LPN nurse and helping people but most of all she enjoyed cooking and being a waitress. Her kindness was without prejudice. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
