Kenneth “Glenn” Hastings, the son of Naomi Peral Hastings was born on October 1, 1953, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Glenn left this earth peacefully on November 12, 2024, in his home in Westville, Ok.
Glenn was a family man. He was a firm believer in God as he started reading his bible religiously over the last few years. He loved fast cars and driving fast. He loved eagles, listening to classic rock music, and collecting M&M containers to put quarters in. Glenn wasn’t just a father he was an uncle to many who loved him. He loved kids, not just his son and nieces and nephews; he loved all kids. He opened and ran a daycare with his mom, which they ran for well over 10 years. Glenn also helped with foster care and fostered and cared for 170 foster children, that isn’t including helping raise his nieces and nephews. Glenn would always make you laugh and smile. He was onery and loved to give the kids whisker burns with his chin before he shaved. It was very rare that you would see him without his starched Levi's that could stand on their own and his hair slicked to the right side. You would never leave his house without a hug, a kiss on the cheek and an I Love You.
Glenn was preceded by death by his mother Naomi Hastings, and two sisters, Kathy Foreman and Clareleen Hastings. Grandparents Lily Thompson and Fred Thompson, five aunts and 2 uncles.
Glenn is survived by his son, Kevin Hastings, and his wife, Laura. Grandkids, Jr, Adain, Beaya, Nikolai, and Anna, Four Nieces: Paula Foreman, Sheri Anderson, Ashley Clinton, and Maegan Murray, and one nephew, Derrick Scott. He also has Many Great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
