Kenneth Glenn Maggard the son of John and Belle (Woodard) Maggard was born September 14, 1933, in Westville, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 4, 2021, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 88 years, 2 months and 20 days.
Kenneth served his country proudly in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. After retirement, he moved back to Oklahoma to be closer to his brothers so they could hunt together. He enjoyed the outdoors whether hunting or fishing. He and his brothers spent numerous hours in the woods chasing dogs, hunting squirrels and deer. He married Marjorie Williams on April 26, 2001, and for the past 20 years they have enjoyed traveling, going to yard sales and auctions, and gospel singings. Kenneth touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Lodema Sweet, Lavada Winn, and Lori Dotson; and brothers Floyd Maggard, Ancil Maggard, Neil Maggard, and Ed Maggard.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Marjorie Maggard of the home; his children Deborah McClellan of Prairie Fredrick, MD, Walter Carlock of Amarillo, TX, Rebecca VanBibber of San Antonio, TX, and Jaqueline Rose and husband Doug of Brownwood, TX; his step-children Veronica Martin and husband Brad of Checotah, Kevin Thomas and wife Pam of Wagoner and Kelvin Thomas and wife Christy of Wagoner; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
