Kohen Mason Crittenden, a precious baby boy, graced this world with his presence on October 12, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas. Though his time with us was fleeting, lasting only 12 short hours, the impact he leaves behind is profound and everlasting.
Kohen is lovingly survived by his mother, Mikala Crittenden, who holds him in her heart as she treks through life without the gentle warmth of her newborn son. His family surrounds him with love and remembrance, including his cherished grandparents, Karen Crittenden of Watts, Oklahoma, and Michael and Herminia Crittenden of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. His devoted aunt, Kassie Farmer of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and uncle, Kyral Farmer of West Siloam Springs, Arkansas, hold onto fleeting memories and the dreams of what could have been. Kohen also leaves behind his cousins, Shelby, Kristopher, Kannan, and Kruz, who will forever treasure the bond they wished to nurture.
While his journey with us was tragically short, Kohen is preceded in death by his uncle Eric Crittenden and his great-grandparents, who are now welcoming him with open arms. He was embraced in spirit by his maternal great-grandmother, Grace Dixon, and great-grandfather, Dean Dixon. He joins his paternal great-grandmother, Terry Crittenden, fondly known as "Mema," and great-grandfather, Raymond Crittenden, lovingly referred to as "Pepa." Each of these family members now cradles Kohen, ensuring that his light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him.
A visitation to honor Kohen's brief yet beautiful life will be held on October 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Roberts & Hart Funeral Home in Westville, Oklahoma. Following this moment of reflection, a graveside service will take place on October 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery. Family and friends are encouraged to join together to celebrate the love and joy Kohen brought into the world, no matter how fleeting.
As we remember baby Kohen Mason Crittenden, let us embrace the tenderness of his existence, holding each memory close and allowing his spirit to remind us of the preciousness of life, love, and family.
