And she lived!
Linda Gail Lawson Unger was born January 8, 1947 in Tulsa, OK. Linda Gail journeyed to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at her home in Baron, OK.
Linda graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1965 and after graduation she became a flight attendant for Pan American Airways. She also worked professionally as the secretary for the principal of Westville Elementary as well as a pharmacy tech with Walmart in Stillwell, Oklahoma.
She is best known for having a voice blessed by God where she sang professionally for a period of time and continued to be called upon to sing on numerous occasions throughout her life.
Linda was saved and baptized in the Baptist faith in 1974. She attended Old Country Baptist in Woodall, OK until her health failed. She loved to surround herself with family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Her family left to mourn her passing include:
Husband – Dallas of the home
Daughters – Michelle Cundy and husband Jay, Danielle Secrest and husband Charles all of Tulsa, OK.
Son – Lance Unger and wife Jana of Westville.
Grandchildren: Chase and Connor Cundy of Tulsa, OK; Hunter Secrest of Springfield, MO, Tanner and Parker Secrest of Tulsa, OK; Jordan Goforth and husband Matt of Siloam Springs, AR, Chance Unger of Tampa, FL, Jax and Alex Unger of Westville, OK.
Linda also leaves many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends to mourn her passing.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Clarence and Blanche Matlock Lawson, her only sibling L.D. Lawson and his spouse Kay.
Linda lived and loved in the present but her love for family that passed never wavered. The word of the Lord says “Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” and her family on earth takes solace knowing she is reunited with those she loved who went before.
