He was a strong man.  He had survived a massive heart attack, triple bypass, brain bleed, stroke and cancer.  Yet, he was still a humble man.  He was a man of few words, who loved spending time with his wife.  They loved each other dearly and had been married since February 4th, 1965.  They were blessed with almost 57 years of marriage.

He took pride in his mowing.  He liked to go to Silcox and buy knives.  He liked listening to old country music while driving down backroads going way under the speed limit.  He loved coaching his son in baseball.  He had a blast spending countless hours at the casino with his wife, son and daughter-in-law.  He liked to get pedicures. He was a Chicago Cubs Baseball fan and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks.
