Loyd Dwain Dress, born on March 14, 1961, in Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Westville, Oklahoma, at the age of 65. He succumbed to health complications from COPD, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.


He was preceded in death by his father, Richard William Dress; his mother, Velma Eller; his eldest brother Gregory Dean Dress; and his beloved daughter, Donna Jo Dress. Dwain is survived by his devoted wife, Marlene Dress, who stood by his side through all of life's joys and challenges. He also leaves behind his loving daughters, Cassandra Luvianos and Krista Dress, who will continue to honor his memory.


His grandchildren, Elijah Walker, Hayden Walker, Griffin Walker, Maddox Boston, and Asha Simmons, were a source of great pride and happiness for him. Dwain is also survived by his brothers, Richard Dress, Delbert Dress, and Dennis Dress, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who held a special place in his heart.


Throughout his life, Dwain found joy in woodworking, lawn mowing, and spending time with his family. He was a hardworking man with a kind spirit and generous heart. Dwain had a way of making others feel welcome, and his warm presence drew people in. His family and friends will always remember him for the joy and comfort he brought to everyone around him.


Loyd Dwain Dress was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace, forever remembered for the kindness and warmth he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.
