Neal Tatum

Neal F. Tatum, son of Mr. John Tatum and Mrs. Una Tatum, was born on April 20, 1928, in Pawnee, Oklahoma and departed this life at home on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

He joined his wife of 73 years.  They are now united for eternity, leaving 2 daughters, Wanda Gibson of Muldrow, OK and Nancy Boydston of Muskogee, OK, 2 grandsons: Wesley Neal Gibson of Ft. Smith, AR, Raymond Neal Boydston of Muskogee, OK, 3 great granddaughters: Alexis Faith Gibson of Van Buren, AR, Kayleigh Marie Boydston and Brooke Bailey Edger, both of Muskogee.

He leaves behind family and memories.  He also leaves behind friends, though many have gone before him.   At 93 years of age, he still drove from Muldrow to Stilwell every Wednesday, to see friends and check on the cattle prices at the Stilwell Sale Barn.  When Covid came around, he decided to stay home.  Due to hearing problems and poor eyesight, he stopped his trips and as time went by, his health went down.  He never forgot his friends, and he and his trusty phone kept the lines hopping.  He had to leave it behind when God called him home.  So, everyone is safe. LOL.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, OK.
