Nora "Deanie" Harp, aged 94, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024. She was born on November 13, 1929, to Floyd and Ollie Collins. Deanie lived a life rich in love, family, and cherished memories.
Throughout her life, Deanie was known for her unwavering faith and dedication to her church. Her passions included fishing alongside her husband during their early years, baking delicious treats for her family, and looking forward to her weekly visits to the beauty shop every Friday. Deanie strongly valued family get-togethers, where laughter and joy were abundant, and she took pride in maintaining a clean home, which reflected her love for collecting cows, a delightful hobby that brought her much happiness.
Deanie was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Harp, and her second husband, Audean Davis. She is also preceded by her siblings: Harold, Floyd, and Raymond Collins, Juanita Hulet, Betty Adair, Lovetta Yocom, and Irene Bartles, daughter-in-law, Chera Lee Harp, and son-in-law, Genaro Singleterry.
Deanie is survived by her sons, Steve Harp and his wife Arlene, Arlin Harp, and Larry Harp and his wife Sandy; as well as her daughter, Kathy Singleterry. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, family and friends.
