Celebrating the life and memory of Pauline (Johnson) Canada, daughter of Ben and Janie (Brown) Johnson. She was born in McCurtain, OK on May 30, 1924. Pauline married Horace G. Canada. She passed from this life at home in Westville, Oklahoma on March 29, 2023 at the age of 98 years, 10 months and one day.
Pauline was a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend to many and she loved her family and friends dearly. Pauline worked hard her whole life to rear many children, grandchildren and some others.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, playing cards, dominos and board games, as well as watching her children, great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren in sports and other special times in their lives.
Pauline was precede in death by her husband: Horace G. Canada, her parents: Ben and Janie Johnson, brother: Woodard Johnson, sisters: Jessie Gibson, Purmie (Johnson – Canada – Walker) King, her sons: Tommy E Canada, Jerry D Canada, daughters: Sandra Faye (Canada-Wilhite) Cusick, Cammie Dawn Canada, grandsons: Bradley Dale Canada, Terry Lee Canada, Shane Jon Canada and granddaughters: Brady Jane Canada-Ritter and Barbara Pauline Canada.
She leaves behind her sons: Rodney Canada of Howe, OK, Brian Canada of Poteau, OK, daughters: Wanda J. Canada of Howe, OK, Paulette Canada of West Ville, OK, Diana Canada-Stevens of Waldron, AR, Cheryl Canada-Mercer of Heavener, OK and Debra Canada- Richardson of Westville, OK.
