Peggy Nickens

Peggy Carol (Balmain) Nickens, born on April 21, 1945 to Olen and Clara Balmain went to her heavenly home on July 10, 2023. She lived a remarkable life filled with love, joy, and compassion.

Peggy attended Watts High School where she also played basketball. She married James Nickens in 1962 and they had three sons: Tim, Brett and Steve. One of Peggy's greatest joys in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who poured her heart and soul into creating a loving home.

Peggy is preceded in death by her son Steve, her husband James, her parents Olen and Clara, and two brothers, Johnny and Owen.

Peggy is survived by a loving family which includes sons Tim Nickens and wife Dana, Brett Nickens and Terri Eagleton; her grandchildren whom she adored, Brian Nickens and wife Kristal, Rachel Cash and husband Cody, Michael Nickens and wife Taylor, Noah Nickens and wife Carissa, Madison Kerns and husband Bryce; Great-grandchildren whom she REALLY adored; Gavin Hall, Kaylie Cash, Cadence Cash, Quinn Cash, Jakoby Nickens and Chet Nickens; and two brothers, Ray and wife Shirley Balmain, and Jesse and wife Anna Balmain.
