Ricky Glen Guthrie

Ricky Glen Guthrie, beloved by all who knew, passed away on January 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love. Born on September 23, 1960, in Castro Valley, California, to Vindle and Shirley (Nickens) Guthrie, his vibrant spirit touched the lives of countless individuals throughout his journey.

Ricky will always be remembered for his vibrant personality. He had an incredible sense of humor and was known as a jokester. He had a special knack for making people laugh and brightening their day. Ricky had a warm and welcoming nature; he never met a stranger. He had the remarkable ability to make everyone he encountered feel like they were lifelong friends. Ricky's genuine love for people touched the hearts of many.

Aside from his wonderful sense of humor, Ricky had another great passion in his life - cars. He possessed an extensive knowledge of about different makes and models. Ricky's enthusiasm for cars was contagious, and he shared this love with anyone willing to listen.

A true testament to Ricky's character was his unwavering love for his family. They were everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Ricky is preceded in death by his great niece Vanessa Guthrie.

He is survived by his parents Vindle and Shirley Guthrie, his daughter Mandy Guthrie, and his three adoring grandchildren: Utah Leach, Hadlle Deason, and Johnnie Race Deason. He also leaves behind three brothers: Jim Guthrie and wife Cynthia, Wayne Guthrie and wife Karen, Cody Guthrie and wife Jordan and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Ricky Glen Guthrie will be remembered as a fun-loving individual who brightened the lives of others with his humor and kindheartedness. His legacy of laughter and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
