Robert Forrester

Robert Eugene "Bob" Forrester, son of Robert Stanford and Margaret Louise Forrester, was born on July 7, 1937 in Parkin, Arkansas and passed from this life on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 79 years.

He married to the love of his life, Arlene Jean Quinn, on September 20, 1957 and they were blessed with 59 years, 6 months and 27 days together. Bob enjoyed playing his guitar and singing hymns. He supported his family as an Over-the-Road Truck Driver. During the last ten years as a truck driver, Bob and Arlene drove as a team.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Margaret Forrester, brother: James Noel Forrester and sister: Johnnie Ruth Leslie.

He is survived by a large, devoted family that includes his wife: Arlene Forrester of the home in Sallisaw, OK, children: Robert S. Forrester and wife Phyllis, Skeet Forrester and wife Penny, Shawn Forrester and wife Mary, all of Westville, OK, Nyra Moses and husband Donald of Taft, OK, James Forrester and wife Susan of Shawnee, KS, Denise Bigot and husband Scotty of Vancleave, MS, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, brothers: David Forrester and wife Anette, Terry Forrester and wife Lisa, of Heber Springs, AR, Tommy Forrester and wife Diane, Jimmy Forrester and wife June, of Wynne, AR, Bobby Forrester and wife Kay of Vandale, AR, sisters: Linda Crumley and husband Danny of Heber Springs, AR, Ann Davis of Dardanelle, AR, Evelynn Moreno of Mesquite, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
