Rodger Payne

On 10-24-2017 the Angels flew into Westville, Oklahoma to take a precious soldier home, Rodger Clayton Payne.
Rodger was born in Rocklin, California on June 21, 1932 to Roy T and Mary E (Beashear) Payne. Rodger recently moved to Westville, Oklahoma from Hillsboro, Oregon. While in Hillsboro, Rodger was a faithful attendee of Hillsboro Nazarene Church.
Rodger was retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service. His military career included serving in the Vietnam Conflict.
Rodger was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Mary Payne, brothers: Roy Sisto, Chuch Payne, Tommy Sitso, Kenny Sitso, sisters: Virginia Lewis, Norma Gibson and Sherry Hyashida.
Rodger is survived by his wife of 42 years, June, of the home in Westville, OK, his children: Janet Diaz (Gary) of Folsom, CA, Penny Peterson (Steve) of Portland, OR, Melissa Zimmerman (Mark) of Carmichael, CA, Donna Renee Denton (Scott) of Effingham, IL, Rodger Payne, Jr. (Pat) of Casper, WY, Candie Dee Bouckhart (Jack) of New Hartford, CT, step children: Fred Edgmon (Janice) and Danny Edgmon (Sandie), of Westville, OK, Gregory Edgmon (Amanda) of El Reno, OK, Kathleen O'Dell (Glen) of Portland, OR and one brother: Phil Payne of Loomis, CA.
Rodger is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Memorial services are planned for a later date.
