Rowena was a wonderful homemaker. She accomplished so much. She was a devoted wife and mother. She cooked, canned, sewed, crocheted, quilted, and gardened every summer including last year. She instilled a love for gardening vegetables with David and sewing/ crocheting with Margie. The skills taught to her children are a legacy. She loved her children and their spouses, but she took so much pride and joy in watching her grandchildren grow. Rowena also enjoyed traveling to nearby places and even enjoyed visiting the grandkids in AK. Rowena had a heart of gold! She would help anyone in need. She always made time for people. She worked for Plus Poultry, Simmons, and an in-home caregiver for the elderly. She later earned her Certified Nurse's Aide certification and was so proud of this. She then went to work for the Westville Nursing home. She loved taking care of the elderly people. Lastly, she worked for the Siloam Springs Hospital as a CNA. Rowena retired to care for her husband, Stanley, during his last years. Rowena attended Baron Baptist Church where she accepted Christ as her Savior. She had a firm belief in God. She was blessed by the friends she made there. She passed on the importance of knowing and serving Christ to her children and grandchildren.
