Sara "Jody" Stanislaus

June 29, 1936 — January 8, 2025

Sara "Jody" Stanislaus, born on June 29, 1936, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A beacon of warmth and kindness, Jody touched the lives of all who knew her. Her heart was as full as the many colorful scarves and blankets she lovingly knitted, crocheted, and shared over the years.

Jody was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Loyd DaWayne Stanislaus, but her enduring love for him and their family remained a source of inspiration.

She leaves behind three cherished children, a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit.

Jody is survived by her eldest, Kay and Glenn Fronterhouse of Lightning Ridge Community; including their children: Maranda and Jeff Bollinger and son Cooper of Little Rock, AR; Malynda Fronterhouse with fiancé Clifton Kauffeld of Lightning Ridge Community and children Jesse and Lexi Guyll – their daughter Jessie of Siloam Springs, AR, Jackson and Aubrey Guyll – their two children Ellie and Elliot of Lightning Ridge; Alexis and Brandon Undernehr of Lightning Ridge Community; and great-grandson Cole Zachry of Bentonville, AR.

Her second child, Cheryl Stanislaus of Watts Community, who has no children of her own but lovingly cares for all members of the family, embodying Jody's spirit of kindness and generosity.

Her youngest, Rick and Lisa Stanislaus of Chance Community; including their children: Nathan and Leslie Byrd of Soldotna, AK; Brandon Byrd of Broken Arrow, OK; Lance and Megan Stanislaus – their two children Nora and Luke of Wilmington, NC.

An avid reader, Jody found joy in the simple pleasures of life: a good book, the steady rhythm of her knitting needles, and the company of those she loved. Her legacy is woven into the fabric of her family, a testament to her boundless generosity and gentle guidance.

Jody's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her love, wisdom, and laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
