Steven “Steve” Escobedo age 64 of Westville, Oklahoma passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at his home in Westville, Oklahoma

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Roberts & Hart Funeral Home in Westville, Oklahoma.

Steve Escobedo was born September 6, 1959, to Daniel Reece and Janice Pauline (Beede) Escobedo in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He grew up in Bixby, Oklahoma and attended schools there. Steve worked as a farm hand, rock mason and heavy equipment operator for Bears Farms for 25 years. He most recently worked for Miles Kimbell Farms, retiring in March of 2023.

On August 19, 1977, Steve married Karrie Lynn (Ervin) Escobedo in Leonard, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Westville, Oklahoma. Steve enjoyed his cows and was an avid deer hunter.

His family includes his wife Karrie of the home; three children Samuel Steven Escobedo who preceded him in death, Rusty Wayne Escobedo and Mandy Lynn Escobedo both of Westville, Oklahoma; five siblings Tommy, Danny, Deborah, Angie and Veronica; grandchildren Wyatt Cole Escobedo, Cristalle Escobedo, Dixie Rose Escobedo, Colton Escobedo, Jacob Girbino and Montana Girbino; and three great grandchildren.
