Wanda Morris

Wanda Morris, 96, of Westville, Ok passed from this life on March 11, 2022 at Quail Ridge Living Center. She was born in Chance, Oklahoma on January 21, 1926 to Floyd and Ruth Mitchell. She taught school at Skelly and Procter Ford, and in 1945 she married Leland Morris. Together they had one daughter, Iva Carol. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she finished her education at the University of Tulsa. She taught school at Mingo Schools in Tulsa for 30 years, and during that time she earned her masters degree. She moved back to Westville in 1996 and enjoyed traveling and spending time with grandkids, and great grandkids. She was super sassy and you could always find her with an icee in her hand. She is survived by daughter, Iva Carol Roberts and husband Paul Lee, grandson Eddie Roberts, and wife Amy, granddaughter Lisa Williams all of Westville, Ok. She was also survived by four great grandkids, Amber Gonzalez, and husband Barion, Jake Roberts, Vanessa Williams, and Kenda Williams. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and her husband Leland Morris.
