Wayne Langley, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 89. Wayne was born on March 20, 1936, in Westville, Oklahoma, to James and Flora Langley. He was a man of many passions and a cherished member of his community.
Wayne dedicated much of his life to dairy farming, cultivating not only a successful career but also a deep appreciation for the land and its blessings. His love for nature extended beyond farming; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching birds. In addition to his agricultural pursuits, Wayne had a keen interest in woodworking and also loved playing tennis in his younger years.
Wayne leaves behind a loving family, which includes his daughters, Elaine Yeager, Dianna Nickell and husband Archie, Rinda Monroe and husband Mike, and his son Mike Langley and wife Shandra. Wayne was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-grandfather to twenty-one great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Glen and Ralph Langley, as well as his sisters Evelyn Burkhart and Carol Blackwell. Wayne’s legacy is further enriched by a host of nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Preceding Wayne in death were his beloved wife, Willadean Langley, his parents, James and Flora Langley, son-in-law Joe Yeager, and also three infant siblings who departed too soon from this world.
Wayne's absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
