Watts

David Ray Walters, a resident of Watts, OK, was born on July 15th, 1963, in Siloam Springs, AR. He was the son of Raymond and Ilene Walters of Watts, OK. David graduated from Colcord High School amongst lots of lifetime friends. David was a Christian man and was secure in knowing the good lord almighty. He loved working to provide for his family, he worked hard to make sure his loved ones knew that they were loved and protected.

David enjoyed hunting and fishing with lots of family and friends. These last few years it was just David and Pops, they both loved to hunt and fish so David made sure that Pops was included. Every year around Thanksgiving he would pull out a deer ham to make his special homemade deer jerky which he loved to give out as Christmas presents. David had a love for music, classic movies and TV shows, he taught his grandsons how to play the guitar and harmonica. David worked for McKee Foods in Gentry for 26 years, before owning 412 Vapors LLC. David worked the last 2 years at Denali Water Solutions in Siloam Springs. The last month of his life, he was raising chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, rabbits, along with his fur babies, Jack and Maggie, his pit bulls. David was also a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan, him and his best buddy Rusty would watch the games together even if they were not together in person! Boomer Sooners!

He was more than a son to Ilene he was her rock and best friend. They went to gun shows together, loved going shopping as Sam’s, and always ate at their favorite restaurants. David met Teresa in 2008 they hit it off immediately. They had a special relationship and shared love for God. He always respected and showed her the best kind of love.
