Rita Hill

Rita Mae Hill, daughter of Homer Gilbert Blue and Laura Ines (Slay) Blue, was born on September 18, 1946 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and departed this life on Friday, April 2, 2021 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas at 74 years of age.

She was a hard worker and a good provider for her family.  Rita enjoyed playing the organ and piano while at home.  She also enjoyed cake decorating.  However, Rita was known for her baking and cooking.  It was your own fault if you ever left her house hungry.

Rita was family oriented.  She loved being at home surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  She taught them all valuable life lessons.  Rita will always be loved and missed by all who knew her and were blessed to have her in their life.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters: Laura Marler of Prairie Grove, AR, Robin Hill of Westville, OK, Julia Bennett of Westville, grandchildren: Mathew Marler and wife Ashley of Jay, OK, Emily Lykins and husband Eric of Westville, Lacey Marler of Westville, Gracie Marler of Prairie Grove, Harrison Sanders of Prairie Grove, Morgan Hill of Westville, Alexander Hill of Westville, Kay Nunn of Westville, brother: Wallace Blue of Christie, OK.  She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Westville City Cemetery, Westville, OK with Bro. Larry Eubanks officiating.  Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
